I'm Going Back to Cali, to Cali, to Cali...

Warning: this is the longest post in blogging history - feel free to nap as needed!

So, in true LL Cool J fashion, exactly one week ago today, I headed back to Cali for some much-needed rest, relaxation and sunshine. (Utah is not my favorite place to be in January). Plus, I've been promising my good pal Rachel for 4 years that I would come and visit. Better late than never, right? A major bonus to this vacation was that my good friend Shannon came too. We packed all the excitement we could in 4.5 short days and had such a great time!

I won't bore you with all the details (ok, maybe I will)! Here are the highlights.

CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

This was my first time at this park...and it was cool. My favorite ride (introduced by Rachel) was the Toy Story ride where you get to shoot a bunch of things (always a good time). The roller coaster and Soaring Over California were also really fun.

For sure, the happiest place on earth (at least until you hurt your ankle and can't walk anymore...which totally happened to me. I swear that we walked 37 miles that day!)

Topanga Beach

(For the sake of all who read this blog, I will not post pictures of me in my bathing suit on the beach - you're welcome! I did get a new suit for this trip that is really cute - on the hanger, not on me. We had a fun couple of hours and saw some super cute surfers!)
