Sundance 2012

Wow, I'm so behind on blogging. So much to update (new house, new husband, new baby...oh wait, I forgot, this is my blog so, yeah, the last 2 have not quite happened, but I'm working on it - and my house is awesome! More on that soon, promise).

So, I had a killer week at work, mostly because I currently have the most miserable cold/virus/plague possible. Seriously, haven't medical advances come far enough that I don't have to get a knock down, drag out sickness every single January? It's so annoying and I'm so dang sick of coughing that I could throw up (oh wait, I did. Yep, coughed so hard the other morning that I actually threw up. You're welcome for sharing).

I suffered my way through the Friday workday and got a text from my friend Rachelle asking what I was doing that night. Sundance started on Thurs and I always like taking part in that, so we decided to head up, even though I should have gone home and just gone to bed because today I have regressed in the getting well department.

We had so much fun. We walked up and down main street and saw the following famous people:

Star sighting #1

Paris Hilton - who hasn't seen her, honestly. Her main point in life is to be seen.

We had just gotten to Park City and were driving up Main Street to find parking and a girl in a big floppy hat walked out of a club. I said, "Who's that? She looks like a big deal." And, sure enough it was someone famous...well, at least someone well known.

Star sighting #2

Reid from Criminal Minds

(I don't actually know who this guy is, but Rachelle watches Criminal Minds so he counts).

Star Sighting #3

Jason Mraz

(He is absolutely adorable. We were standing on the sidewalk when a car pulled up and Jason jumped out wearing a flannel shirt, an elmer fudd hat and boots. So cute).

Star Sighting #4

Emma Roberts

(She is itty bitty and very pretty. She walked out of the door Jason Mraz had gone in about 3 minutes earlier).

Star Sighting #5

Ludacris - because we went to his show!

I know - what the...? A Ludacris concert is the last place I would be expected to be, but we went and it was fun and scary and maddening and crazy and uncomfortable and loud and inappropriate and loud and fun. In that order. And I didn't get home till 2:30 a.m. I am way too old for that.

(Sorry for the Google images. I didn't get any good photos last night).
