We had such a great day celebrating Janae's birthday. We started at the IMAX in Salt Lake and saw The Green Hornet. It was pretty good - a lot better than I expected.
Cade had never been to a 3D movie before (how is that possible?). He's was such a riot during the whole movie, but especially at the beginning. I would hear things like, "Oh my gosh, it's coming toward me! Now you, no...ME!" And he would reach up and try to grab things.
It was just like going to the movie with a 4-year-old.
After that, we met up with Krystal and went for pedicures. Cade was way excited about that. He was a good sport because it took forever - seriously, like 2 hours. It was so annoying, but fun at the same time. Who doesn't like to get pedicures?
Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory (Janae's favorite). The wait was so incredibly long that they told us to come back in an hour just to get a pager.
Not worth it.
So, instead we went to California Pizza Kitchen. While we were waiting to get seated, we headed into Nordstrom's to do a little window shopping that, unfortunately for me, turned into a purchase. But, my new headband is cute, right?
Cade wanted this hat so badly, but we wouldn't let him get it.
(he really didn't)
(Yes, I'm drinking Mountain Dew. Don't judge).
To finish off the night, we went back to Cade and Krystal's for cake and ice cream and we watched Get Smart. It was a great day.
